ABOUT US
EMBER FAITH began in 2024 as something simple—a Facebook page created to share encouraging, Christ-centered messages in the middle of everyday life. There was no big plan or elaborate ministry behind it. Just a desire to put biblical truth, hope, and encouragement in people’s news feeds and point them toward Jesus.
Since then, that simple idea has grown into something much more.
Today, EmberFaith is an online ministry creating and sharing free, Christ-centered Bible studies, devotionals, and biblical resources for anyone, anywhere. With more than 100+ studies and devotionals available to read, explore, and apply, our goal is to make God’s Word accessible beyond the walls of a church building.
We believe the Gospel belongs wherever people are—including their phones, their social feeds, their homes, and their everyday lives. That’s why we create resources that are biblical, practical, honest, and designed to help people take their next step in their walk with Christ.
Our vision is rooted in the Great Commission: to go and make disciples. We want to help believers grow deeper in their faith while also creating a place where those who may be searching, questioning, or simply curious about Jesus can encounter biblical truth and discover who He is.
The name EmberFaith comes from a simple picture: an ember may seem small, but when it is protected and given the right fuel, it can become a fire. We believe faith can be the same way. A single message can encourage someone. A single verse can change someone's perspective. A single step toward Jesus can begin something much bigger.
Our mission is simple: Know God. Grow in faith. Live it out.
We’re here to fan the flame of faith in Christ and help people discover that following Jesus isn't just something that happens inside a church building. It is a life that can be lived every day, wherever you are.
Welcome to EmberFaith.
OUR MISSION
At EMBER FAITH, our mission is simple but powerful: to grow the Kingdom of Heaven by fulfilling the Great Commission, one post at a time. We are committed to filling news feeds with Christ-centered, biblical content that inspires believers to deepen their faith, empowers them to live boldly for Christ, and equips them to share His love, mercy, forgiveness, and hope with the world.
We believe that a single ember can ignite a roaring blaze, and through our content, we aim to spark a fire in the hearts of believers and non-believers alike. We’re not just about reaching a wide audience—we’re about transforming lives, strengthening the Church, and spreading the Good News far and wide.
With each post, each resource, and each connection, we seek to create a community of faith that burns brightly, pushing back the darkness and shining God’s light into every corner of the world. This is more than just a mission—it’s a movement. A movement to see hearts changed, lives renewed, and the Kingdom of Heaven advanced.
OUR TEAM
Andrew Yates
Founder & Lead Visionary
Andrew is the founder of EmberFaith, a ministry born from a simple desire: to help people encounter Jesus beyond the four walls of a church.
As a pastor, Andrew has seen the difference the local church can make, but he also knows not everyone is walking through a church door. EmberFaith was created to meet people where they are—online, at home, in their car, or wherever life takes them—and help them explore faith, encounter Scripture, and take their next step toward Christ.
Andrew writes most of EmberFaith’s Bible studies, devotionals, and teaching content, focusing on making biblical truth accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life. He also helps shape the vision and creative direction of the ministry.
Favorite Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:11
Fun Fact: Coffee is basically part of the ministry strategy.
