YOU SAID YES. NOW WHAT?

Your journey with Jesus is just beginning.

If you've recently put your faith in Jesus Christ, we want to celebrate with you.

You made a decision that changes everything.

But following Jesus isn't about saying a prayer and then trying to figure out the rest of your life on your own. It's about beginning a relationship with Him and learning, day by day, what it means to follow Him.

You don't have to know everything. You don't have to have everything figured out. And you don't have to take the journey alone.

There are some important next steps we encourage you to take as you begin following Jesus.

FOLLOW JESUS IN BAPTISM

Baptism isn't simply a symbol we participate in because that's what Christians have always done. Jesus instructed His followers to baptize disciples, and throughout the book of Acts, we see people responding to the gospel through repentance, faith, and baptism.

When Peter preached the gospel at Pentecost, the people responded by asking what they should do. Peter told them to repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38).

Baptism doesn't save you. Jesus saves you.

But baptism is an important act of obedience for someone who has chosen to follow Christ. It publicly identifies you with Jesus and pictures the new life you've received through Him—being buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

If you've trusted Jesus with your life and haven't been baptized, we'd encourage you to take that next step.

GET A BIBLE

If you don't have a physical Bible, get one.

The Bible isn't just another book about God. It's God's Word and the foundation for learning who He is, what He has done, and what it means to follow Jesus.

We encourage you to get a physical Bible that you can hold, read, underline, take notes in, and return to again and again.

Don't have one? We want to help.

EmberFaith would love to provide you with a free Bible. Fill out the form below.

START GROWING

You were made to grow.

When you begin following Jesus, you don't suddenly know everything about God, the Bible, or what it means to live as a Christian.

That's okay.

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and becoming more like Him.

That's why we created resources to help you get started.

Start with Foundations

Our Foundations devotional series is designed to help you begin building your faith on the truth of God's Word.

It's simple. It's practical. And it's a great place to start.

GET CONNECTED

Following Jesus isn't a solo journey.

God created us to live in community with other believers.

You need people who will pray with you, encourage you, teach you, challenge you, worship with you, and walk with you through the highs and lows of life.

That's why getting connected to a healthy local church is so important.

And we want to be clear about something:

EmberFaith isn't meant to replace your local church.

We want to help you find one.

If you're not currently connected to a local, Bible-believing church, let us know. We'll do our best to help you find one in your area. Fill out the form below.

Just keep taking the next step.

We'll do our best to help you along the way.
