• A Christian article or blog post

Writing Sample Requirements:

• 300–600 words

• Original writing preferred

• Include Scripture references where appropriate

• No need to create something specifically for this application. An existing sample is perfectly fine.

EmberFaith is a Christ-centered ministry, and we believe that serving in any capacity is more than simply filling a position. It is an opportunity to represent Jesus Christ and the message of the Gospel.

Anyone serving with EmberFaith, whether as a writer, contributor, volunteer, or in any other capacity, is expected to demonstrate a genuine commitment to following Christ and to represent Him well through their words, actions, attitudes, and everyday lives.

We recognize that none of us is perfect, and we all continue to grow in our faith. However, we believe those who serve in Christian ministry should strive to live in a manner that reflects the teachings of Scripture, honors God, and aligns with the beliefs and values outlined in the EmberFaith Statement of Faith.

Ministry Accountability

Serving with EmberFaith is a privilege, not a permanent position or entitlement. EmberFaith reserves the right to discontinue an individual's volunteer or ministry involvement at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a departure from our Statement of Faith, conduct or lifestyle that is inconsistent with biblical principles, or actions and behavior that undermine the ministry's mission, Christian witness, or reputation.

Our desire is never to hold people to a standard of perfection, but to ensure that those representing EmberFaith are genuinely committed to Christ and to living out the faith we proclaim.

Acknowledgment of Commitment

I have read and understand EmberFaith's expectations regarding Christian conduct, ministry representation, and accountability. I understand that serving with EmberFaith is a privilege and that my involvement may be discontinued at any time if my beliefs, conduct, or actions are inconsistent with the ministry's Statement of Faith, biblical principles, or its mission and values.
